This project may reflect some similarities to Project 1. Taking this one step further, choose no more than 2 letters or 2 different fonts (for example a capital H in Arial Black, and a lowercase I in Palatino Italic). Create either a design or picture using only these letters. Employ principles of contrast, repetition, alignment, and/or use the letters as shapes, to make your picture or design. Final size, one 7×7 or 8×8 inch square.

There will be 2 versions of this design. 1 inked and 1 computer generated, of the same. One or the other may be flipped horizontally or vertically, or a negative version of the other. They will be mounted side by side, presented together.

If you are still refining your thumbnails, I would recommend doing them on the computer. That way you can see what your limitations are, and it may be easier too.

a #10 envelope 4 1/8×9 1/2 inches

at least one business card 2×3 1/2

to be mounted as shown on examples. The inked logo can be scanned as a TIFF file for building the business suite. Or you can create the entire combination mark on the computer, save as an EPS, and “place” into the InDesign business suite layouts.

Text to include: Letterhead and business card will include address line, telephone numbers, and fax number or e-mail address. #10 envelope will include return address. Business cards will include your name, title, address and/or email address, and telephone numbers.
